About
A calculator for a question everyone asks
Then & Now on notinvested.com shows what a lump sum in a listed world stock would be worth today — after the company’s own splits, bonus issues, and dividends. It is not a broker and not advice.
What this is
People remember a price from years ago and wonder what a fixed amount would have become. Then & Now answers that one question. You pick a ticker, an amount, and a date. We walk the holding forward on public market data and show shares bought then, shares you would hold now, today’s share price, and a year-by-year timeline.
Markets covered include major listings in the United States, Europe, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, India, Australia, and elsewhere that publish the history we can fetch. Longer reading lives on the blog: compounding, where to invest, and why to invest regularly.
Who runs it
Then & Now is an independent educational project from Nottinvested. It is not a bank, brokerage, or SEBI / SEC registered adviser. There is no client account and no custody of funds. Support: Thekirudi@gmail.com.

How the numbers are made
Pricing runs on the server so the formula is not shipped to your browser. You can read the method on how it works. Past prices can be restated, listings can vanish, and taxes and fees are not modelled. Treat every result as education. The disclaimer is part of the product.
Advertising
The site is free to use. It is supported by Google AdSense ads. Google is a third-party vendor and may use cookies to serve and measure ads. Read our privacy policy and Google’s own Google Privacy Policy and advertising technologies pages. You can change ad personalization at Google Ads Settings.
What we will not do
- Recommend that you buy, hold, or sell a security.
- Take deposits or trade on your behalf.
- Pretend a backtest is a live portfolio.
If a result looks like a story you want to tell, copy the short script — and still do your own work before you spend real money.
